The "Everlight" Home Workshop: A Stained Glass Taster Session

If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at the ancient art of stained glass but didn't know where to start, let me bring the craft to you. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone birthday, hosting a creative hen or stag party, or simply want a meaningful afternoon with friends, I provide a bespoke 1-to-1 or small group experience in the comfort of your own space.
The Experience
This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly "taster" session where we skip the stress and head straight to the soul-satisfying part of the craft. I’ll guide you through the traditional Copper Foil (Tiffany) technique —the same method I use to create my botanical stems on the boat.
What you’ll do:
Select Your Palette: Choose from a curated selection of stunning cathedral and iridescent glass.
Glass cutting and grinding
Foiling: Learn the meditative art of wrapping glass in copper tape.
Soldering: Master the soldering iron to join your pieces together.
Finishing: Polish your piece to a professional shine, ready to catch the sun.

How it Works:
I Bring the Studio: From the soldering irons and grinders to the safety gear and glass, I provide everything. All you need is a sturdy table and a nearby power socket.
The Project: Everyone will walk away with their own handcrafted suncatcher or botanical stem (think glass blooms or simple hanging suncatchers).
Location: I currently travel to homes across Wiltshire and Somerset

A Note on Safety:
As we will be working with hot irons and glass, these workshops are strictly for ages 16+. For groups, a maximum of 6 people ensures everyone gets the guidance they need.
